Acai Berry & Weight Loss

When I first heard about the health properties available in acai berry I was initially a bit sceptical. I have tried a few organic supplements in the past and had experienced only minimal weight loss results.

Are Acai Berry supplements safe?

  • John Hopkins school of Medicine: 4% of subjects who took high dosages of Vitamin E were at a higher risk of dying, whilst 13% had an increased chance of experiencing heart failure.
  • Copenhagen Researchers: 6% of subjects who took high dosages of Vitamin A, C and E were found to be at a higher risk of developing colon, liver and pancreatic cancer.

With statistics like these it is hard to trust this supplement. Especially when all its possible health problems are directly comparable to its benefits. They all seem to tell the opposite story.
